STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®is one of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety.

On 1st June 2007 the regulation (EG) Nr. 1907/2006 regarding Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) came into effect. The objective of REACH is to improve the knowledge about the properties of chemical substances and the risks related to their use. The REACH system is based on the principle of own responsibility of the industry.
Yarn, fabric and textile products, according to the special regulation, are not considered necessary for registration. To guarantee product safety and also to respect the environment, we constantly follow the REACH regulation.
We hereby inform you that the goods we produce comply with the requirements of the REACH regulation in its latest version.
Should the requirements and limitations on either our suppliers or our products change, we guarantee that the necessary information will be passed on the supply chain, and the necessary steps will be taken.
We, as Kirayteks management and employees, are bound by our commitment to take social and ecological responsibility for the available resources in our environment like raw materials, process water, energy, and also including our production machinery and equipment.
Our goal is to ensure the long-term success of our company while avoiding and minimizing environmental pollution such as packaging waste, wastewater, emissions to the atmosphere, etc.
We fulfill our legal requirements and other specifications to which we have committed ourselves as a minimum requirement. Our continuous investment for energy savings in our production machines and energy recovery installations from exhaust air and process water helps us to reduce CO2 emissions. We also thank our Industry Zone for the advanced water treatment facility in operation since 2007. We are proud to announce that thanks to the installation of the additional treatment step starting the second quarter of 2021 the treated waste water will be used again as process water in the industry.
